“Ecotaller” Centre - international cooperation project

The main aim was to develop a model of collaborative construction utilizing natural, local materials and sustainable techniques.
The building also had to be environmentally appropriate for the local climatic conditions, socially and economically sustainable, focused on energy efficiency, and respectful of both the surroundings and human well-being in relation to the architectural space.
Situated within the Havana Metropolitan Park, the project centers on the creation of a recreational hub designed for the social and educational activities of the local community.
The spatial organization stems from research into maximizing natural cooling and diffused solar radiation, both indoors and outdoors. The project utilizes bamboo as a sustainable raw material and a renewable energy source, leveraging its biomass to produce natural building materials.
